Miss Adventures started out as a clever URL name that I purchased in 1999 with the idea of creating a travel website for women. In 2004, I launched the blog.
I still aim to write about travel on Miss Adventures. But this blog has evolved beyond its initial purpose to become a sort of catchall for things that I am doing and things that interest me.
Miss Adventures straddles the topics of travel, food, and culture as well as subjects that are related but are not exclusive to the concerns of women (parenting, writing, technology, education, shopping, relationships, etc.).
Miss Adventures contains a mix of original content, product reviews, humor, and commentary/links to long form articles, books, and news.
A few popular posts from this blog include:
- The Best Distraction Free Writing Apps
- Rule Britannia: My Article for Saveur
- 6 Things You Must Do in Istanbul
- How to Eat Pocket Coffee (includes charming, amateur video)
- The Raj of Wankaner
In short, Miss Adventures covers things that I like and that I think you will like, too.
Who Writes Miss Adventures?
Hi, my name is Melanie Renzulli.
I also write about Italy travel on the website italofile.com. (In case you can’t tell, I have a thing for using wordplay in URLs.)
